How to get to Northern Cyprus?

There are two ways to get to the island: by plane or by ferry.

Northern Cyprus. Ercan airport

There are no direct flights to the Republic of Northern Cyprus – everyone uses a transfer in one of the Turkish cities. You will arrive at the new terminal of Ercan Airport, which has recently opened. It is located near the capital of Northern Cyprus, Lefkosa.

Southern Cyprus. Airports of Larnaca and Paphos

If you have a Schengen / Cypriot national visa or a passport that allows you to freely cross the borders of the Eurozone, you can fly to the south side of the island, order a transfer and easily pass the border of two states.

Ferry Türkiye – Northern Cyprus

For those who are in Turkey or traveling by car, it will be convenient to use the ferry to Northern Cyprus. Unlike by plane, this method takes much more time and is not as comfortable, but you can take more things with you, and also enjoy a wonderful boat trip.
