Validity of vaccines changed in North Cyprus

10 December

The High Committee on Infectious Diseases has accepted new decisions to prevent the increase of Covid-19 cases in Northern Cyprus.

From December 6, 2021, people who received two doses of the Pfizer/Biotech, AstraZeneca/Oxford, Moderna vaccine, and after six months have not received the third dose, will be considered unvaccinated, and their AdaPass will be canceled.

In addition, people who have received Johnson and Johnson or Sinovac vaccines and have not received a second/third dose after three months will also be considered unvaccinated, and their AdaPass will be canceled.

People who have not been vaccinated or who have received a double dose of the vaccine will only be able to visit:

  • supermarkets
  • government agencies and banks
  • retail stores
  • outdoor team sports

*The visit requires a negative test result (PCR / antigen) for Covid-19, made within the last 72 hours.
